Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah – PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF is back to realizing the Homestay Financing Partnership Program, this time in Kemuning Village, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. This cooperation is part of an effort to support the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN), especially in the tourism sector in the regions.
This cooperation was realized through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between SMF and BUMDes Desa Kemuning which was signed by Director of SMF Trisnadi Yulrisman, and Director of BUMDes Kemuning Makmur, Joko Sugiarto, on Thursday (1/10/2020) at Balai Branti, Kemuning Village, Karanganyar, Central Java.
The signing was witnessed by Deputy Minister of Villages, Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration, Budhi Arie Setiadi, Head of Kemuning Village, Widadi Nur Widyoko, and General Chairperson of the Foundation for Indonesia Gold (YMIE), Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo.
In this collaboration, SMF acts as a provider of homestay financing to the community in Kemuning Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar, Central Java through BUMNDes.
Director of SMF, Trisnadi Yulrisman said that the distribution of homestay financing is part of SMF’s commitment to support the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) launched by the Government, especially in the tourism sector, through homestay financing.
“As a Special Mission Veehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, in the midst of this pandemic, SMF is committed to be able to provide wider benefits. Related to that, SMF is ready to be used and able to encourage the growth of the tourism sector which is in line with the Government’s program in restoring national economic conditions, “he said.
He also hopes that this collaboration can become a means of developing tourism potential in Karanganyar Regency, which in the future can have a positive impact on improving people’s lives and supporting the PEN Program.
“We believe that the movement of the homestay in Kemuning Village will be one of the driving forces for the movement of the tourism sector. In addition, the distribution of financing for homestays will also foster economic potential for both homestay owners and the surrounding community, “said Trisnadi.
Trisnadi further explained that this homestay financing program can have an impact in terms of social impacts, where homestay financing can improve the quality of aspects of health, education, employment, wealth, income levels, quality of life, trade, and public awareness of the environment.
The Homestay Financing Program is a special assignment program for SMF from the Government. Throughout 2019, SMF has worked together with stakeholders in realizing the Partnership Program in the form of a Homestay Financing Program in Priority Tourism Destinations (DPP) located in Central Java, Yogyakarta Yogyakarta, and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
